Invoice & receipt to Excel
Stop rekeying invoices — convert to clean Excel, with the totals checked where the document states them.
Most accounts-payable teams still retype invoices by hand. PDFHandle pulls every line item into Excel and, where the invoice states a subtotal, tax and total, checks that the math adds up — and honestly marks anything it can't prove as Unverified instead of guessing.
How it works
- 1Upload an invoice or receipt PDF (or a batch of them).
- 2Line items — description, quantity, unit price, amount — are extracted to clean Excel.
- 3Where the document states a subtotal, tax and total, we check that the line items add up to them; otherwise it's honestly marked Unverified.
- 4Download .xlsx / CSV ready for your accounting system — no rekeying.
Why PDFHandle
Frequently asked questions
Do you verify invoice totals?
Where an invoice states a subtotal, tax and total, we check the arithmetic (line items → subtotal, subtotal + tax = total) and show a verdict. If those anchors aren't present we convert the table and mark it Unverified rather than guess — we never show a false “Verified”.
Can I convert many invoices at once?
Yes — batch upload converts multiple PDFs and returns one ZIP of Excel files.
Is my data private?
Yes. Files are processed in memory on our own server — no third-party AI or cloud service — and deleted within about 15 minutes. Nothing is stored.
What about scanned or photographed receipts?
Run them through OCR first (free in PDF Tools) to add a text layer, then convert. A pure image with no text can't be read reliably by anyone.
Also convert bank statements, financial statements, or rent rolls & T-12s.
