Financial statement converter to Excel — verified
P&L and balance sheet PDFs to clean Excel — with the accounting equation proven, not assumed.
Accountants, auditors, bookkeepers and analysts receive financials from third parties and have to trust the numbers. PDFHandle converts the PDF to clean Excel and then proves the math: a balance sheet must satisfy Assets = Liabilities + Equity, and an income statement's totals must foot. It only calls a statement Verified when it reconciles — the one promise we never break is that we never show a false “Verified.”
How it works
- 1Upload a financial statement PDF — an income statement / P&L, or a balance sheet.
- 2Every line item is extracted to clean Excel, with the account code split from the description.
- 3The math is checked: a balance sheet must satisfy Assets = Liabilities + Equity; an income statement's totals must foot. You get a verdict, not a guess.
- 4Download verified .xlsx / CSV, or the one-page proof certificate for your workpapers.
Why “verified”, not just “converted”
Frequently asked questions
What financial statements can it verify?
Balance sheets are proven with the accounting equation — Total Assets must equal Total Liabilities + Total Equity (or the stated “Total Liabilities and Equity” line). Income statements / P&Ls are checked so the section subtotals and totals foot. If the anchors aren't present we say Unverified rather than guess — we never show a false “Verified”.
How is this different from a normal PDF-to-Excel converter?
Ordinary converters (and even AI ones) hand you cells and hope they're right. PDFHandle runs a deterministic, offline arithmetic check and only shows GREEN when the statement provably reconciles — otherwise it flags the exact line that's off.
Is my data private?
Yes. Files are processed in memory on our own server — no third-party AI or cloud service — and deleted within about 15 minutes. Nothing is stored and nothing is used for training.
Does it work for any company, not just real estate?
Yes. The accounting equation and statement footing are universal, so any company's balance sheet or P&L works — the engine reads the statement's own totals, not a template.
Also convert bank statements, rent rolls & T-12s, or use the free PDF tools. Everything runs private and offline.
