Capital One statement to Excel — verified
Convert Capital One 360 & business checking statements to clean Excel or CSV — and get arithmetic proof, not a guess. The running balance is walked row-by-row and the deposits/withdrawals totals are reconciled against the closing balance before anything is marked Verified.
What we handle in Capital One statements
- Statement opening/closing balances matched against the transaction rows
- Deposits vs. withdrawals separated and subtotalled for the reconciliation check
- Digital-first statement layouts handled without a fixed template
- Every transaction preserved as its own row with date, description and amount
How it works
- 1Download your Capital One statement as a PDF from online banking (the standard statement works as-is).
- 2Upload it to PDFHandle — processed in memory on our own server, never a third-party AI service.
- 3Every transaction is extracted, then reconciled two ways: the running balance is walked row-by-row, and opening + deposits − withdrawals is checked against the stated closing balance.
- 4Download clean .xlsx / CSV. You get GREEN only when the math proves out — otherwise the exact break is flagged.
Why “verified”, not just “converted”
Other converters — even AI ones — hand you rows and hope they're right. PDFHandle runs a deterministic, offline reconciliation on your Capital One statement and only shows GREEN when the transactions provably foot to the stated balances. It's the one promise we never break: we never show a false “Verified”.
Questions
Is my Capital One statement kept private?
Yes. Files are processed in memory on our own server — no third-party AI or cloud OCR service — and deleted within about 15 minutes. Nothing is stored.
How is a Capital One statement “verified”?
It's arithmetic proof, not a guess. We walk the running balance from the opening figure through every transaction and confirm it lands on the stated closing balance, and we check opening + deposits − withdrawals = closing. If it doesn't reconcile, you see Review or Mismatch with the break flagged — we never show a false “Verified”.
What if my statement is a scan or image?
Run it through OCR first (free in PDF Tools) to add a text layer, then convert. A scan with no text can't be read reliably by anyone — we tell you honestly instead of guessing.
Do you support other banks?
Yes — the engine reads the statement's own table and balances, not a bank-specific template, so most banks work. These pages just cover the most common ones.
